The The Electrically Assisted Cargo Bike (EACB) is: a load-bearing bike par excellence. It can carry large loads and volumes. From personal experience, we've tested a number of cargo bikes. Getting around accessibility constraints in town centres:
In town, and particularly at rush hour, it's very difficult to get around freely and quickly by vehicle. The electrically-assisted cargo bike makes it much easier to get around town, whether you're delivering parcels, collecting rubbish or carrying out street marketing operations!
Reducing air and noise pollution
It's no surprise to anyone, but electrically-assisted cargo bikes emit far fewer carbon emissions than a motorised vehicle. Of course, noise pollution is also reduced. When you choose a cargo bike, you're choosing to get around efficiently and protect the environment at the same time.
Reduce transport costs.
Finally, from a financial point of view, choosing an ACEV is very advantageous for the company. An ECBV is not a moped, so you don't have to wear a helmet, register your vehicle or take out insurance. What's more, unlike a motorised vehicle, the electrically assisted cargo bike does not incur costs linked to fuel or fines.
Cargo bikes: what's it like for the rider and passengers?
The centre of gravity of a cargobike is very low, which means that the rider feels very little of the overall weight and makes this bike very manoeuvrable.
Once you've tried it for the first time, you'll quickly feel at ease as you weave in and out, turn around and so on. Little passengers are generally delighted, sitting comfortably and often admired by passers-by!
As well as being easy to use, the bike is a great way to get in some exercise every time you travel. In fact, despite the electric assistance, you still have to pedal to get the bike moving! It's a great way to keep physically fit.
What's more, the cargo bike is completely modular, so it can be adapted to meet different needs depending on the type of professional. Today, the electric cargo bike is a real alternative to motorised vehicles.
